 first glance  Perhaps the first thing you notice is the sharp glare of his magenta eyes or the golden sheen of his hair, or maybe you heard him speak in that distinctive accent of the Skatay Mountains of Dalmasca. Despite the perpetual scowl and the constant distance he puts between himself and others, this veena speaks softly and politely, the quality of his voice singsong and playful, and he's ever quick to help those in need.

Wesley prefers to keep his distance in a fight, attacking from afar and closing in only when necessary. Originally an archer then bard, he enjoys taking on a supportive role in combat, his voice bolstering allies and giving them the push they need to excel.He fights most often with the abilities of a red mage, long leaps into and away from the fray. Proficient in fire and lightning magicks to his own detriment, his charred fingertips are a testament to the sway of his magical skills. Though his aether is, at present, dangerous for him to use, he can heal in a pinch. Give him a moment to focus, and everything should be fine. For you.Those that have fought alongside him say his grace on the battlefield is artistic, and the way he moves mesmerizing. His smooth agility and svelte frame have, to his surprise and disbelief, turned a few heads in the heat of battle, so much so that he was scouted to join a dancing troupe. He didn't join officially, but he did study some of their ways and uses what he learned.Once he finds balance to his aether, who knows what fantastical things he might do with his magicks and sensitivity to dynamis...

 errand boy 
Perhaps you've heard of a helpful veena around Eorzea! An ex-Scion, a Private of the Maelstrom, and an adventurer by trade, Wesley gained a name for himself throughout Eorzea for his contributions to the city states and local tribes. He asks for no more than a smile and maybe a snack for those without the coin to spare. Should you have any tasks to complete, be them little errands, a dungeon delve, or the like, perhaps he can be of assistance!

 student of magicks 
Though he picked up red magicks after meeting one dashing miqo'te clad in red, Wesley's aether control is imbalanced and has a tendency for destruction. Many of his spells cause himself physical harm, resulting in the singed or cut appearance of his fingers. He currently trains in conjury with Emi and thaumaturgy with Zai'ra, but a little extra help never hurt...!Wesley is currently taking a break from magic. Sigh.

 echo 
Along with the typical visions of the past, Wesley's Echo allows him to feel the emotions of others as if they were his own when he touches them. He typically avoids physical contact to protect the privacy of others.
Heightened Echo: After the events of the Final Days, Wesley's Echo now picks up the dynamis of the area immediately around him (~3ft). Though he can control most of the intake, he may become overwhelmed during moments of high emotion.
